Mother's

The comfort a child feels
   in their Mother's arms   
  Knowing she will protect 
        them from every harm.       

     She will be there for them 
in every way
      to comfort and guide them
day by day.

  She'll kiss all their hurts
     take away all their pain
     She'll help them to become
      strong and whole again.

 

   She'll teach them the ways
    of life the best that she can,
   so they will grow up to be
      the best young lady or young man.

  

      All too soon they grow up
      and out on their own,
        but always dear to their hearts
     is a place called home.

M-O-T-H-E-R

"M" is for the million things she gave me,
"O" means only that she's growing old....
 "T" is for the tears she shed to save me,  
  "H" is for her heart of purest gold;          
     "E" is for her eyes, with love-light shining,
    "R" means right, and right she'll always be,

  Put them all together, they spell 
"MOTHER,"
      A word that means the world to me.
