Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving comes but once a year
but thanking comes all year long
a thank you is such a special thing
to use it you will never go wrong

Thank God for being there for us
thank family and friends who care
thank strangers you meet along the way
a thank you is something to share

Add a smile as you speak these words
to show that you are sincere
when you do a kind deed for someone 
a thank you is so nice to hear

You will find that a smile and thank you
is something so easy to say
you will find that it becomes contagious
and it will help to make someones day

So as you gather with your friends and family 
bow your  heads, hold hands and pray
pray for the safety of our great country
that we may be at peace again one day.

This year Thanksgiving is going to be an extra special day
to celebrate. We all need to remember to pray for peace 
in our country and to stand by our family and friends .
Remember to say a special prayer for all the families
who lost their loved ones and a very special prayer and
thank you to our service men and women who are working
so hard to bring peace back to our country, and will not be able to spend Thanksgiving day with their loved ones this year.
A special prayer for our President and all who are helping him.
                       Let there be Peace on Earth
