Little One

Please don't cry my little one
let's wipe those tears away
put a smile on your face
save the tears for another day

I know your heart is breaking
you feel lost and so alone
you are growing up so quickly
what's ahead is still unknown

In your short life you have learned
that friends will come and go
you will meet new ones along the way
and not forget the ones you know

Please my little one
wipe away those tears
take time to remember happy times
and put away all your fears

Put on your little happy face
your tears will  break my heart
even though there are miles between us
we are never far apart

So once again I ask of you
my little one so dear
my love for you will never leave
your heart I hold so near

This is dedicated to anyone, young or old,
who has had to tell a good friend good-by.
This brings to my mind a song that I learned
in Girl Scouts....
Since it has been a "couple" years ago that I was
a girl scout  *smile*, the only words I can remember are...

"Make new friends, but keep the old, one is silver,
and the other is gold"

This is so true....

"Smile"

John's Midi and Thing

Smile though your heart is aching
Smile even though it's breaking
When there are clouds in the sky, you'll get by
If you smile through your fear and sorrow
Smile and maybe tomorrow
You'll see the sun come shining through for you

Light up your face with gladness
Hide every trace of sadness
Although a tear may be ever so near
That's the time you must keep on trying
Smile, what's the use of crying?
You'll find that life is still worthwhile
If you just smile

That's the time you must keep on trying
Smile, what's the use of crying?
You'll find that life is still worthwhile
If you just smile

Please sign my guestbook before you leave
Tabby and I love to hear from you...
Thanks
