~ Warriors of Courage ~

Where do you get your courage
you brave warrior from our land?
I watch and I'm in awe of you
as you push forward thru the sand.

As so many who've gone before you,
you've been asked to do your part.
And you're giving freely of yourself,
your body, mind and heart.

But your soul remains the property
of God who loves you so.
He walks that desert with you
beside you where you go.

From home you may see angry faces
who protest what you do.
Remember it's the war they hate,
not your brothers, sisters or you.

The freedoms that we have today
stand because you fight.
Without you warrior, filled with courage,
we would all fight day and night.

I am so very proud of you.
And I'm proud to be a part
of a country who will stand up
to a despot without a heart.

That despot freely throws away
those for which he has no use.
You're fighting also for their lives,
and you need not make excuse.

You wage this war to free the world
from impending mass destruction.
You wage this war to stop a man
who would take us to hell's junction.

So many of us stand in prayer
and we hope that you can feel,
the love, the hope, we have for you ~
you warrior made of steel.

I heard the answer in my heart,
and you already knew ~
The courage that you feel right now,
is God's strength inside of you.
