Welcome
"It's a Small"

For The Young
and
Young at Heart

(Click on the name of each song to hear it play)

From the time you were a tiny baby,
and your Mother sang,
"Rock-a-bye-Baby"  to you,
You knew that you were going to love
music forever.

No one likes spiders, but WHO could resist
"The Itsy Bitsy Spider?"
He was soooo cute going up and down that
water spout.

Then one day when I was a little older,
I said to my Mommy,
"Where oh Where Has My Little Dog Gone?"

Do you suppose maybe those cats
Of ours, singing
"We Are Siamese"
scared him away???

But I later
found him, so everything was ok.

* * *

Then one day I woke up not feeling very good.
OH, how I hated to take my medicine, so
my Mother told me,
"Just a Spoonful of Sugar"
Helps The Medicine Go Down.

She was so right,
since I felt better, I got to go
"Down By The Station"
to see all the trains sitting there.

Later that day, all my little friends
came over and we played
"Ring Around The Rosey"
Oh what fun we had.

When I grew up and got really, really old,
I think I was about 6. I learned the
greatest word that I have ever heard.
I really believe that
"Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious"
is probably the longest word in the world.
I was so proud of myself. . .
Won't you sing with me.

Um diddle diddle diddle um diddle ay
Um diddle diddle diddle um diddle ay
Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious!
Even though the sound of it
Is something quite atrocious
If you say it loud enough
You'll always sound precocious
Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious!

Um diddle diddle diddle um diddle ay
Um diddle diddle diddle um diddle ay
Because I was afraid to speak
When I was just a lad
My father gave me nose a tweak
And told me I was bad
But then one day I learned a word
That saved me aching nose
The biggest word I ever heard
And this is how it goes:

Oh, supercalifragilisticexpialidocious!
Even though the sound of it
Is something quite atrocious
If you say it loud enough
You'll always sound precocious
Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious!

Um diddle diddle diddle um diddle ay
Um diddle diddle diddle um diddle ay
So when the cat has got your tongue
There's no need for dismay
Just summon up this word
And then you've got a lot to say
But better use it carefully
Or it may change your life
One night I said it to me girl
And now me girl's my wife!

She's supercalifragilisticexpialidocious!
Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious
Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious
Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious!

Then when I was 17, and almost to the point
of being an "old maid", I would sit and think.
"Someday My Prince Will come"
I would look out the window and wonder, when?

So, when ever you are feeling a little low,
remember,
" When You Wish Upon A Star"
everything somehow looks brighter. . .

I would like to dedicate this page to my
8 wonderful grand-children.
Even though they range in age from
3 years to 17 years old, I am sure
they all love these songs.
Their Grandma/Me-Maw sure does...
